Preparation
- Begin by peeling the ripe bananas and breaking them into pieces.
- Place the bananas in a blender or food processor.
- Add the yogurt and honey (if using) to the blender.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth without any lumps.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or syrup.
- Pour the blended mixture into popsicle molds and tap gently to release any air bubbles.
- Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least four hours, or until frozen solid.
- To release the popsicles, run warm water over the exterior of the molds for a few seconds before gently pulling them out.
Notes
These popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to two months without losing flavor or texture. Ensure all air is removed from the sealed freezer bag to prevent freezer burn. Additional variations include Berry Banana Popsicles, Chocolate Dipped Popsicles, and Nutty Banana Popsicles.
