Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 1/4 cup Honey, any variety Can substitute with maple syrup for a unique twist.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Can be swapped for shallots for a sweeter note.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce, low sodium preferred Tamari or coconut aminos can be used as soy-free alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Ground black pepper
  • Green onions, for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil until smooth.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow them to marinate for about 10 minutes for optimal flavor.
  3. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then place the marinated salmon fillets in the basket.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Carefully transfer the salmon to plates, drizzle with any remaining glaze, and sprinkle with chopped green onions for a pop of color.

Notes

For variations, consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or citrus zest for a fresh flavor. Pair with steamed vegetables, rice, or salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. When reheating, use the air fryer for best results.
