Preparation

- In another bowl, mix together the oats, flour, remaining sugar, and cinnamon. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping over the apples, making sure to cover them evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
- Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top.

Add nuts or a mix of fruits for customization. Replace sugar with honey or maple syrup for healthier options. Serve in ramekins or a large dish, topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
