Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out your dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and place it on a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Toss until all the apple slices are well coated.
- Evenly distribute the apple mixture over the pizza dough, spreading it out for even coverage.
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, and chopped nuts. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Generously sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples, making sure to cover them fully.
Baking
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing. It's perfect warm, and pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, pop it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or microwave single servings for about 30 seconds.
