  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (fresh or frozen) If using frozen, thaw before cooking.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed for brightness.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill Or fresh, if available.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • as needed lemon slices For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish. Brush generously with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Add lemon slices on top of each fillet for extra flavor.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  2. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
