Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy clean-up.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, honey, and sesame oil, then pour half of this mixture over the salmon, reserving the other half for later.
- Allow the salmon to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Baking
- Place the marinated salmon in the oven and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Midway through baking, baste the salmon with the reserved teriyaki sauce.
Serving
- Once baked, sprinkle the salmon with green onions and sesame seeds for garnishing.
Notes
For variations, try adding sriracha for spiciness or glaze with a mixture of apricot jam and soy sauce for a sweet twist. Serve with rice, veggies, or a side salad.
