For the Bites
  • 1 pound Salmon fillets Fresh or frozen, wild-caught preferred.
  • 1 cup Flour Substitute almond flour for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 cup Cornstarch Helps create an irresistible crunch.
  • 1 large Egg For binding and color.
  • 1/2 cup Bang Bang Sauce A mix of mayonnaise, Sriracha, and honey.
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions For garnish and fresh flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour and cornstarch. In another bowl, whisk the egg.
  4. Dip each salmon piece into the egg and then coat with the flour mixture.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated salmon bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the Bang Bang sauce ingredients (mayonnaise, Sriracha, and honey).
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the bites or serve it on the side for dipping.

Notes

For a crispier texture, consider using an air fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 2 days.
