Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce use homemade or your favorite store-bought variety
For the Coleslaw
  • 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded mixed with purple cabbage is a fun twist
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt is a great substitute for a lighter option
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps spinach or whole grain makes for a colorful alternative

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked chicken with BBQ sauce, stirring until the chicken is well-coated.
  2. In another bowl, mix the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  3. In a separate small bowl, prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, mixing until evenly coated.
Assembly
  1. Lay a tortilla flat and add a generous scoop of the BBQ chicken mixture in the center, followed by a scoop of coleslaw.
  2. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  3. Place the wrap seam-side down on a plate. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  4. (Optional) Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the wraps for 2-3 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different ingredients! You can swap out the chicken for pulled pork or even sautéed vegetables for a vegetarian delight. Adding a hint of lime juice or a dash of hot sauce can spice things up. For a festive option, consider incorporating some fresh herbs like cilantro or mint.
