- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper until a syrup forms.
- Place the salmon fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Pour the brown sugar glaze over the fillets, coating them generously.
Cooking
- Pop the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. The glaze will caramelize and shine.
- Baste the fish with the glaze halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
- Once done, take the salmon out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
