Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Optionally, mix in a few drops of orange food coloring.
- Cut the puff pastry into long triangles (about 4 inches wide at the base).
- Roll the pastry from the base of each triangle towards the tip to form a cone and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the pastry for a golden glaze. Alternatively, you can use a splash of milk.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
- Once out of the oven, let the cones cool slightly before filling them with your chosen treats.
- Add green sprinkles or edible glitter on top for extra flair.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. To reheat, place in a warm oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
