Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it's ready for baking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste, ensuring each bite is flavorful.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it evenly across the dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top, and if you like a little crunch, add breadcrumbs for a crispy topping.
  6. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.

Notes

To store, let the casserole cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container. It keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days or can be frozen for up to 2 months. When reheating, add a splash of milk to freshen it up and warm it back to creamy perfection.
