  • 1 cup milk or your favorite plant-based alternative
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar works beautifully!
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or swap with sausage for a twist
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions or chives optional, for garnish

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined and slightly frothy.
  3. Stir in the cooked bacon, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer across the bottom.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the tater tots, ensuring every piece is coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Once done, allow it to cool for a few minutes, and sprinkle with green onions or chives for that final touch.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, consider freezing individual portions. To reheat, simply place it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes until warm throughout.
