Preparation
- Begin by cooking the twisted pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add to the skillet, cooking until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
- Once the steak is seared, add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
Cooking
- Remove the steak bites and set aside. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the remaining butter, heavy cream, and Cajun seasoning. Stir well, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and incorporated into the sauce.
- Finally, add the cooked pasta and the steak bites back to the skillet, tossing everything together until well combined.
- Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. When ready, reheat on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream to restore the creaminess without losing texture.
