Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, smoked paprika, and fresh dill. Mix until creamy and well-blended.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut them into squares, approximately 3x3 inches in size.
Assembly
- Place a small spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each square. Top with a piece of smoked salmon, and then fold the corners of the pastry to the center, pinching them to seal.
- Brush each pastry with the beaten egg.
Baking
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your assembled pastries inside.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Serving
- Let them cool slightly and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
