  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed Use fresh for best texture
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped Yellow or white works best
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 to taste Salt
  • 1 to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth Ensure it's gluten-free if necessary
  • optional red pepper flakes For a little kick

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the kielbasa, chop the onion, and trim the green beans.
  2. In your crockpot, layer the sliced kielbasa, followed by the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  3. Toss in the fresh green beans and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Pour the chicken broth over the mixture.
  2. Cover the crockpot and set it to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  3. Just before serving, stir and adjust the seasoning to taste.

Notes

For added richness, brown the kielbasa before adding to the crockpot. Use fresh green beans for the best texture.
