  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil, for garnish optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Place half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  3. Dollop half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and a dash of Parmesan.
  4. Add another layer of marinara sauce, ravioli, ricotta, and mozzarella.
  5. Finish with the remaining marinara sauce and a generous topping of mozzarella.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top for added flavor.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

This is a perfect make-ahead recipe if you plan to enjoy it later in the week. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven. This dish also freezes well.
