Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs Choose tender cuts for best results.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Base for the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon oregano Essential Greek flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the marinade.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds color and flavor.
For the Wraps
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped Adds crunch.
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced For freshness.
  • 1 cup cucumbers, sliced Provides juiciness.
  • 1 cup red onions, sliced For sharp flavor.
  • 4 pieces pita bread or tortillas Choose based on preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
  2. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Assembly
  1. While chicken is cooking, chop your lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions.
  2. Once cooked, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  3. On a wrap, layer sliced chicken, fresh vegetables, and a drizzle of yogurt sauce.
  4. Roll tightly and cut in half before serving.
Serving
  1. Arrange the wraps on a plate and garnish with extra herbs or a wedge of lemon.

Notes

You can customize with feta cheese or swap spinach for kale. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
