  • 3 medium Potatoes Russet or red are recommended; sweet potatoes can be used for a twist.
  • 2 cups Carrots Fresh or frozen.
  • 1 packet Onion Soup Mix Enhances the dish's flavor.

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
Cooking
  1. In your slow cooker, layer the potatoes, carrots, and ground beef.
  2. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top and stir until well combined.
  3. Pour in enough water to just cover the ingredients. Set the slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Once done, ensure that the vegetables are tender and give everything a gentle stir before serving.

Notes

This recipe is great for meal prep. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
