Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cubed chicken and toss until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
  3. Alternate threading the marinated chicken, peaches, and jalapeno slices onto the skewers.
Cooking
  1. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
