Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the dish. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then sprinkle with minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Roast the salmon in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until opaque and flaky.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes. Don't overcook the salmon; aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
