Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar. Toss gently until well-coated. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
Make the Biscuit Topping
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar. Add melted butter and milk, stirring just until combined.
Bake
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the top of the peaches; it's okay if some peach filling is visible.
- Place in the oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown and the peach juices are bubbling.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream. For an extra touch of indulgence, drizzle with caramel sauce. To store leftovers, cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
