Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved strawberries with honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Toss gently to coat the strawberries evenly.
- Spread the strawberries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the strawberries are bubbly and beautifully caramelized, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Roasted strawberries can be served over vanilla ice cream, folded into yogurt, or added to salads. Store in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
