Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs beef (sirloin or ribeye works great) Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional, for an umami kick)
For Skewering
  • Bell peppers and onions, cut into chunks For added color and flavor
  • Wooden or metal skewers If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes prior to grilling

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, black pepper, and soy sauce. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Cut the beef into 1-inch cubes and place them in the marinade. Ensure each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Once marinated, thread the beef onto the skewers, alternating with chunks of bell peppers and onions.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches your desired doneness.
  2. After removing from the grill, let the kebabs rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve the kebabs warm with your favorite sides, and enjoy the meal with family and friends.

Notes

These kebabs are perfect for meal prep; marinate them the night before. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for spice or use seasonal marinades for holidays.
