  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the breakfast sausage. Cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain any excess grease for a healthier dish.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Open the can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Add these pieces to the mixing bowl with the sausage.
  6. Fold in the shredded cheese and any optional vegetables. Ensure everything is well mixed.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serve warm.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It is freezer-friendly and can be reheated at 350°F (175°C).
