  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) for richness
  • 2 pieces lemons juiced for that fresh zing
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder or fresh minced garlic for a stronger flavor
  • 1 tablespoon paprika adds warmth and color
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a bit of olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish and generously brush the butter mixture over each fillet.
Cooking
  1. Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
  2. Once done, remove the salmon from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

This recipe allows for various modifications such as adding crushed herbs for an uplift in flavor, incorporating a spicy kick, or drizzling honey for sweetness.
