Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with half of the brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread them evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Pour the melted butter over the mixture and stir until it’s crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
Baking
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
