  • 2 cups Baby carrots or sliced larger carrots
  • 1 cup English cucumbers Crunchy varieties work best.
  • 1 cup Bell peppers A mix of colors adds visual appeal.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Adds a burst of juiciness.

Hummus
  • 2 cups Hummus (store-bought or homemade) Homemade adds a personal touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all the vegetables and dips in front of you for easy assembly.
  2. If making your own hummus, blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
  3. Wash the veggies and slice them into easy-to-dip shapes—think sticks and rounds.
Assembly
  1. On a large platter or wooden board, start placing the hummus in a bowl at the center.
  2. Surround the hummus with cleverly arranged veggie sticks and cherry tomatoes.
  3. Place a stack of crackers or pita wedges on one side of the board.
  4. Sprinkle olives and herbs over the veggies for a final touch of color and flavor.
